our background
started by Edwin Stemp MA in 2008, HIGHCONTRAST was born out of a need for providing high level photography, primarily for fashion clients based in and around the North West.
now with over 10 years experience working as a commercial photographer, he runs the agency with a small team of talented individuals, providing effective creative solutions for the fashion industry.

we understand that before you take us on you’ll want to be sure you like our style. before the shoot, we’ll get together to show and discuss ideas, peruse portfolios until everyone is clear about the look you’re going for.
we can manage the whole process from sourcing models, model releases, booking locations, styling research, arranging transport and accommodation when required. we handle all of these things so all you have to think about is your product.
aftercare
at HIGHCONTRAST we’re dedicated to service so within a day of the shoot you can expect to see contact sheets on email, a CD of all images taken, hi-res images uploaded to our servers, print solutions to suit your requirements and whatever follow-up service you need.
our in-house staff work very closely with the photographers, to ensure everyone is concentrating on what they excel in. we offer events managers, web designers, print designers, illustrators and digital manipulation, all coordinated by a creative director.
