High Contrast were asked by Comic Relief to cover an event for Sport Relief taking place at Whalley Range 11-18 School. The kids were challenged to dribble a mile with their basket balls. Here’s some of the action…

Adding to our collection of health and fitness shoots, High Contrast were recently commissioned to shoot a range of campaign material for Macdonald Hotels. Here are some of the shots from behind-the-scenes…

This was probably one of the most challenging shoots we’ve done recently in terms of lighting - we had to work with nearly zero natural light as despite the gym having floor-to-ceiling windows, they were coated in a dark tint that almost made it look like night-time outside!

Ad Campaign for Castrol Oil

We’ve had a flurry of last minute jobs recently - this one was arranged and booked with less than a day’s notice but we managed to pull it off! Castrol Oil needed a high quality image for their up coming international ad campaign promoting a huge competition they’re launching in the new year. Here are some of the behind-the-scene shots taken by assistant Dario.

This is the final image without any editing - we’ll post the final version of the ad in the new year when the campaign goes live.

Street shooting in Manchester

Shooting in the street around Manchester can give you a plethora of choices for backgrounds but isn’t without its challenges.

High Contrast ventured into the streets this summer to shoot this range for a Chinese fashion manufacturer wishing to add an ‘English’ feel to their imagery.

Fresh Start PR Photography

High Contrast were commissioned to provide PR photography for Fresh Start Waste Services’ Green Chef food recycling scheme across Manchester. The Green Chef diverts from landfill and recycles 100% of food waste.

The new service is the perfect way for hotels and restaurants around Manchester to recycle their waste and do a bit for the environment, as well as save some money.

The images will contribute to The Green Chef launch campaign along with promotional marketing literature, further PR events, web and press coverage and a telemarketing campaign.

The Rock Shopping Centre - Bury

The centre offers free parking in the evening, has a vast array of restaurants to choose from with cinema and bowling alley on site, it’s definitely worth checking out if you’ve not been yet!
